Holidays

I use to love Holidays, but not so much any more. I like them, they just make me sad. I don't know why but when Christmas rolls around I always start thinking of my grandpa. Every Christmas he would sit in a chair in the corner and just smile. He was always so happy to get my pen and paper. As a kid that is what I used to give him because he was always writing stuff down. He never got a ton of gifts but was always so happy, and spoiled us kids rotten.
I also miss Josh's Grandpa Jack. He was one of my best friends. I looked forward to seeing him on Christmas and giving him a Big Birthday Hug!! He was a Christmas baby. One of the sweetest people I knew. We had a special bond.
But these days those to men aren't here, and now I find the running around to 3 houses hard.My Freeman family isn't too bad they always have Thanksgiving the week before so we always go to that one. Then on Thanksgiving day we split it between my mom and the Redds.
For Christmas we normally spend Christmas Eve with the Redds, and then Christmas day split between my Dad and Mom's houses. I think this might be the last year we do that, we will have them come to ours.
