Today that is what I am doing making a family tradition. Ever since I was little my grandma has made her dressing from scratch. It is the best dressing I have ever had. A couple of years ago she had me write down how she made it. She would say " we need some salt" I would say how much? She would reply " A handful." This went on through the whole process. The next year when we pulled the recipe out and I started reading it to her she said" A Handful is a lot!" I just laughed. So we made a new recipe.
For about 5 years I have gone over and helped her make it, and I did this year too, but she cut back on how much she made, so I decided I would try it with out her help. I am excited that I am the only one who knows how she does it. This is a great tradition that I am looking forward to carrying on.
