Why Oh Why?

Why does it seem like more and more people are getting divorced? I found out today that a couple that Josh and I know are separated. It just kills me. It seems now days it is just easier to get divorced rather than work through the hard times.
Why do people even get married any more.
I think it blows my mind more when you are friends with these people, and you looked up to them.
I wonder if they even stop to think about what they are doing. Speaking from tons of experience, I think if they could stop thinking about themselves, half the people would still be married.
