Tonight's Drug and Alcohol class

Tonight was our  weekly Drug and Alcohol class. Before this class I never really knew how to spell alcohol, kind of funny. Any ways. Tonight we took Bubba with us too. The girls were serving at the relief  society party and he didn't want to stay home alone. I am glad that he went. He got to see what we talk about and some of the activities that we do.
Tonight was fun! It was on communication. It was nice to see that we are good at communicating to our kids. Little Josh and I worked together and Big Josh and Bubba worked together. The fist activity we did was to turn our chairs back to back. The parents had a picture and had to explain to the kids how to draw it. There were 2, Josh and Bubba did a great job, both almost perfect. The second activity was to face each other knees touching and the kids were supposed to talk to us and tell us something important and we were supposed to ignore them. Then we reversed it. We told them something important and they ignored us. Then we did it again, but we both had to listen. It was nice to hear that my kids felt weird when we were ignoring them. The third activity was awesome!! The parents were blind folded, a puzzle placed in front of us, and the kids had to tell us directions. I really enjoyed this. Josh did a great job explaining things to me. We got a little over half done, but not before they told us to stop because someone had finished! Yep Josh and Bubba were the only ones to complete it. They did great. It is a very fun activity.
