The kid in the red hat

Thats the kid I fell in love with. It was the day of my 10th grade registration. I had just gone done to WX to get registered for 10th grade. I had met some friends there, and we headed up to my house to hang out. I had a lot of guy friends, and one girl that was my best friend, and had been since I was 3, plus my sister. We were all hanging out in our basement when the door bell rang. There sat one of my guy friends from the skating rink, another guy friend from school, and this kids that was wearing a red ball cap.
Oh the kid in the red hat was so cute!! He was kind of cocky!! I couldn't stop looking at him.
There we all sat 8 boys and 3 girls, in my basement when my dad showed up!! I knew if I had all those people in the house he wouldn't be too happy so we headed out side to the backyard to jump on the trampoline.
That day I turned to my BFF and my Sister and Said, I am going to marry that kid, the one in the red ball cap!! They laughed at me, and said yeah right, he's mine.
I was serious that day!! I don't know how I knew, but I did. SO here we are now celebrating our 16th Anniversay!!
Josh I love you more today than I did the first day I met you. You have been my Bff for 19 years. You have helped me over come hurdles that I never thought I could, you have helped me believe in myself, and love myself. You have helped me put a positive spin on my life that was much needed.
You have supported me through some really tuff times, times that I just didn't think I could make it.
You have loved me when You didn't need to, and stuck by me when it would have been easier to run.
I love you more than words could ever describe. Thank you so much for being MY MAN, My SUGAR DADDY, MY KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR!!
Thank you for being you, and for everything you have done for our little family, for being such a hard worker, and a wonderful dad, for being there when our kids need you. For keeping me at home with our kids.
