If Looks could kill

So lastnight we had a band concert for Bubba. It was at centerville Jr High. We showed up and walked in. The candy machines caught the girls eyes. So we were seeing if they were plugged in, when all the sudden the family that we were going to buy their house comes around the corner. OH Man talk about uncomfortable. That lady did not want to look at me. You could tell that she was ticked off at us.
We used to be somewhat friends from football, and now neither one of us wanted to talk to each other.
How sad!! I feel bad, and I wish that she knew the circumstances. I got my hopes up way bad, I was so excited to be moving,I could picture where all my stuff was going to go, and then got the slammed down faster than fast.
I know that she got her hopes up too. They have been trying to move for over a year, and to think that they could finally move, and then to get the call that it wasn't going to happen, I am sure it was hard.
Needles to say I have learned a great lesson. Don't ask people for help!! Do it on our own, because then I know it will happen, then we can control the situation. I hope that doesn't sound rude, but I was so excited that I got my kids excited, we really thought it was going to happen. The girls were excited to have their own rooms, and the boys to be closer to friends.
This isn't the first time things have fallen through when we have asked for help, but I am sure it will be the last.
I am done feeling crapy!!
I am going to fix my little house like I want, and try to sale it, but if not then I will stay.
I need to be happy with what I have, and stop wanting for something else. At least I have a house.

sorry to hear that things haven't gone exactly how you thought. That is alwasy so hard and you're right, probably hard on the other family as well. Hang in there and things will work as they are intended too, and you're right, at least you have a house!! ;)
