I have been thinking a lot about my kids growing up so fast. I feel like at this rate, J will be driving tomorrow. He has just grown up so much in the last year. Bubba too. They are no longer my little buddies. They would kill me if I still called them that.
I have been thinking a lot about their growing up in student housing, and how much fun it was. I loved that place. I loved being able to let them play outside, while I cleaned the house.
I also loved that every time you went outside, there was someone to talk to. You could be outside all day. Most days we were. We had so many good friendships up there. I so miss those days.
We filled out papers for J to go into 8th grade, and Bubba to go into 7th. I am feeling sad, where did those cute little men go, that hung out with me all the time?
Our Princess is going to be 8 soon, and our Angel is turning 6. Oh how I wish I could just freeze their ages.
I do have to say I am so grateful for my kids. I think I am the luckiest mom. All 4 are so wonderful. And the best part, is that they all still love to hug me, and once in a while I will get a little kiss on the cheek.
I love the relationship that I have with my kids, I love that my boys feel comfortable talking to me about everything.
Today I would say I love life

You DO have great kids! They have melted my heart more than once and I'm just the neighbor down the street! Not every mom can say that she has a solid relationship with her kids - so that's a special blessing upon you! WAY TO GO!!
