So the other day I was saying how I was babysitting 5 kids. All the kids are great, but what is up with the parents. The one lady owes me for two weeks, So I wrote up a bill for $250. When we had talked We had agreed on $500 a month for 2 kids. So when I hand her the bill she acted like it was too much. And she said well I can't pay this, this isn't what we talked about. So I kindly said I told you that I charge $500 a month. That is what I charge everyone, so I know that is what I told you. She said NO you told me $20 a day for 2 kids. Although I like the kids it's not worth the money. If I wanted 2 more kids full time I would just get pregnant 2 more times. So Friday after she pays me I am going to tell her sorry no can do.
And little Austin who I have since she was about 1 will be attending pre-school in June. She is a great little girl. We have enjoyed having her in our house. Kids grow so fast.

You know, it is really unfortunate that people are like that! I commend you for your willingness to even watch kids! That takes a ton of patience and caring - of which I don't have! You know, if these parents don't want to spend $500 a month on childcare then one of them should consider not working! (hehehehee!)
You should have some sort of form letter with your prices all typed up. You know? Something with all the FAQ's and stuff. Then there will be no question, you can say, "Hey, you saw the form."
Also, if they signed it and you kept a copy, it could be used as a legal contract if they stiff you when it comes time to pay.
Also...Hi. : )
