Christmas has come and gone

Christmas came and went so fast this year. I was really struggling to get in the Christmas Spirit this year. It just seemed like for the last 6 months we have had a lot of stuff going on, and trying to deal with it along with the Holiday was hard. One was a pay cut. I tried not to let it bother me, but it did. To accommodate the pay cut, we just cut back. Which was hard for me. We tend to have small Christmas's any way, but this years was extra small. I decided that this year instead of buying for all of my sister in laws, that I was going to just stick with who I had. I was bummed out because I love to give!! I also stuck to my budget for everyone else.Which in the end was good. Most of my gifts this year were home made. 

When it was all said and done, I think this is the best Christmas we have had in a long time. My presents came from the heart, and were hand made. I think the Best part was tradition that we do every year, which is we hang out with the Redd in laws. My kids look forward to it every year. This year was different, we were all sitting in a circle, and we went around and told a memory, or a reason that Our Parents mean so much to us. I bawled like a baby, I couldn't even say what I wanted to. They have done so much for me this year emotionally, and mentally. I couldn't have made it through this last 6 months with out them. But I didn't want to go into detail, so it was kind of hard to put it into words.

Also my kids are the Best kids ever. They had a great Christmas and were so grateful for what they did get. My son Bubba even went out of his way and thought about me this year. I wanted to cry. He is such a sweet boy. He is sure growing up. My girls too thought about everyone in our family. It was neat to see them wanting to do for others.

This year in our family we started a new tradition. We pick a name and then we write a letter to that person telling them how much they mean to us. That was so awesome. This Christmas was truly the Best I have ever had. Simple like it should be, homemade gifts, and letters to others telling them how special they are to us.
