FALL!! I LOVE FALL!! I have always loved August-November!! Just the smells that are in the air, and all the flowers and trees changing colors. Apples, peaches, pears, all fruit is ready to be picked and canned.
When I was a little girl we would order wood for our wood burning stove. When it arrived we would form a line and put it in a huge pile to the side of our house. I loved the smell of it.
I would also help my grandma can peaches, pears and cherries. It has been a long time since any of that has been done.
This year I made it a goal that if I wanted to bake something, I was going to do it. Today I canned apple pie filling. I love doing it, it smells so wonderful.
This year I have done appircot jam, strawberry freezer jam, and now pie filling. Next is salsa!!! then Dilli bread!!
It is going to be a great fall!

YOU ARE AWESOME. i wish i had those talents, your kids are lucky! all my family will get to eat is taco bell and ramen! p.s. mary looks gorgeous!
