This week I was trying to think of positive things that have been going on in my life. Sometimes I get so down in the dumps, that all I think about is negative things, and then I just get miserable and unhappy. Which always ends up with me yelling at the kids, or just having a not so nice ton in my voice.
I thought about how funny it is that things just happen to work out, like us refinancing our home paying bills off,and getting a good raise made it possible for us to be ok with our pay cut. We haven't got our first paycheck with the pay cut, but I know we will be fine.
How we ended up not moving because we just couldn't find a home that felt like the home we are in. We love our home. I have never wanted a huge house, and I can make this house what I want little by little.
Once you start thinking about things you can't stop.
Today I am grateful for my kids. I dare say that I have the best kids in the world. That they are everything that I have ever dreamed of, and more. I Cherish the little kwirks that each of them have that makes them unique.
I am grateful for a loving husband who has so much love to give. Who is the greatest Dad in the world. My kids are so lucky to have him as an example. I am lucky to have such a great friend.

Great post Heid. You do have a bomb life!
I'm still in the mode of "when we grow up ... we'll have a real home:)" I just turned 31 and still feel like I'm 'playing house!!' I daydream of a lawn to mow, garden to weed, and helping someone with their homework.
When you posted the other day about not having any more kids, just think, I'll be your age when I START!!!! No need to give up hope!!
I started listing "2 things" that I was greatful for each night after saying prayers with my kids. They do the same and we can never repeat ourselves. We have been thankful for things like frogs, rainbows, pillows, sleepovers, air, underpants and more! When we realize all that we have been blessed with then the hard things seem to get smaller and not as important or overwelming. Your are a great person with a great smile! I'm glad that you are being taken care of however the house next door to me is for sale...just saying! :)
