Yesterday was a great day. I went to breakfast with some friends, chatted for a couple of hours. Went home and cleaned a little, took a nap. It was great.
Then I had this great idea to grab the mail. I hate getting my mail, I normaly let it build up in the mail box till it is so full that it can't shut. In the huge pile I notice 3 letters from the junior high. Yeah! not so good news. For some reason both my boys have U's again, and Bubba has an F that he has to pay $45 to take a class for 7 weeks. Josh has 3 F's he an get his up, it is only mid term.. You have got to be kidding me. What the heck! I felt like beating them. So I pulled their grades up online and found out that both of them had some missing assingments. So Icalled Josh at his friends house and told him that I was coming to get him, that he wasn't doing anything until he had his missing work done. Same with Brandon if he wanted to go to scouts he had to get his missing math done.
This is what I don't understand. They are both very smart kids. They know that I will help them with anything. So will their dad. So really it is just being LAZY! Neither one should have bad grades.
I know that Josh's English teacher can't stand him because he talks too much. I am to the point with that, that I don't care. The teacher is well, lets just say she doesn't deal kids very well. I am tired of all the little snide remarks she makes to Josh.
Any way I just had to vent today.
Now I am going to go visit grandma and see how she is doing today.

oooo - hate that! Glad you didn't kill the boys - and good for you for getting them from their activities and making them get on their missing work! Sometimes I think that the focus just is on something that is seemingly more important at the time and the other things slip away! TEENS - what do you do?!
