Our Other Kids

Tank 2 and Cricket 4
When Josh and I bought our house one of the first things we did was buy a dog. We felt like every kid should have a dog. So for Christmas we bought our Beautiful Cricket. She was so sweet, quiet, and calm. She was perfect for our family.
We thought for sure she would be and indoor dog, but after a a couple of months I just couldn't have her inside. I was very allergic to her, and the potty training thing just wasn't happening with her. So we got a nice Kennel, and a dog house. She was kind of sad, and so were we. Then our friend asked us if we could kennel his dog Ute for a little while. Our dogs became best friends. Then our friends got their house and Ute left. Poor Cricket was lonley.
Since I was a little girl I wanted a Husky! They are so beautiful. So one day I got this wild hair, and went on to KSL, and found Tank. When Josh got home I said lets go! we are gettting another dog(What was I thinking!)When we arrived we let the kids pick the dog. There were about 8 or so puppies. Tank kept trying to run away and hide. The kids loved that so that is how they picked Tank. When we arrived home he ran under the van and hid. He was so cute! We kept him in for a while, and then sent him out with Cricket.
Latley these two having been causing some problems between us and our SWEET neighbor, to the point that I don't even want to be nice to her any more. She says that they bark too much and keep her awake. WHO! sleeps all day??
I know they bark, but I also know they don't bark a lot. They bark at cats and deer, maybe a skunk here and there. When I hear them I yell out to them to SHUT UP! That most the time does the trick.
SO I was dreading leaving for 9 days. She had called animal control on me 2 times last month, and the sherriff 2 times.
So I called her on the phone and told her I was sorry that the dogs had been barking and bugging her, and she starts telling me how the dogs aren't my job they are Josh's and that he needed to do his job and on and on. It kind of made me mad.
Anyway went and got a bark collar for Tank. I swear she has something against men. Put it on him they day before we left. So now come to find out they dogs, Cricket is now barking so I went and got a collar for her. As Joshie went out to put it on her he noticed that Tanks was gone. So we spent a few hours looking for it. We can't find it any where. I am so scared that he ate it.
I am at my wits end. I am going crazy yelling at the dogs all the time. I can't have them inside(small house 2 BIG dogs) And my neighbor maybe I should go buy her ear plugs and muzzle. Then she would be happy and so would I.
