Neighbors

Well you know how some people have wonderful neighbors, I am one of those people. On both sides of me I have older single women who have been divorced for a number of years. Both are great ladies. The one on the East pretty much keeps to her self. In the summer we talk a lot, Bubba and Josh take care of her lawns. On the West this one keeps to herself, but likes to try to cause problems for us every once in a while.
So this morning I get a knock on my door. I was all excited thinking that one of my friends had stopped by for a chat. I open the door to Animal Control. One of my favorites. This is not the first time. I was very kind. It was a very nice nice guy, and he just asked me if I bring my dogs in when it gets cold. I said Nope. He just asked me to make sure that on the cold nights they were taking care of. So I said to him. I am so sorry. My neighbor calls on me all the time. I try to keep up with everything she complains about. But I am not sure what I can do to get the dogs to stop barking at the cats and the deer. He just kind of laughed.
You see 2 years ago, she called on me becasue I was watching my brother Pj's dog. His wife had had enough of the dog so he came and visited aunt Heidi. So I had 3 dogs in my pen. None were licensed. So I got a $75 fine and had to get them shots and licensed. No big deal I did it.
The thing that gets me is that she thinks that dogs shouldn't bark. I hate dogs that bark all the time, and most of the time when mine start I yell out to them and they stop. But now is the time where the deer come down and are in the backyards behind me and the dogs love to bark. Do I care? Yes! am I going to stop them Nope! not any more. Why because they don't bark all the time non stop. If they did I would do something about it.

maybe she needs a friendly reminder that the deer are lovely and dogs love to bark at em'! You know - spell it out in sugar cookies! ;)

LOL - she called on you because the doggies bark at deer... ROFLMAO. No, really. What!?! Say WHAT?!?! I know that she doesn't like the barky bark of the doggie dog, but seriously - it's man's best friend! Not to mention they don't have the cognitive thinking as humans do... "I know, we shouldn't bark at that deer today because it upsets Mrs. West House"... HAHAHAAA - Well, I am glad that you were Nice to Mr. Animal Control. You are always such a sweetheart! HUGS
