Venting!

Are you a Venter, OR a Tounge Biter?

It always depends on who I am talking to. I vent to Josh, and to everyone else most the time I bite my tounge. ( Unless you really make me mad)
But to tell you the truth I am so tired of not telling poeple to take a hike.
Josh and I have been married 14 years, one thing we have learned that we don't go around family much, because things are said or done that just are frustrating.
People tend to be a little harder and more vocal to our kids, because they are the oldest and are setting an example for the younger grandkids. But what they fail to see is that their kids are setting examples for mine and that is frustrating.
One minute you can have a great relationship and then the next they are saying stuff to you and you have NO idea why . This happens a lot. Or things are said to ONLY YOU! Not your spouse just YOU! Why is that.
Sometimes I feel like I just won't be able to bite my tounge. I Try to be Christ like, but it gets harder and harder.
I have decided that it is easier to just stay home. If Family wants to visit us they can come to our house.

AGREED! Sometimes it's hard to be a guest in another home (family or not) knowing that your kids are scrutinized more than the others, or that you're being watched with a magnifying glass! FRUSTRATING! once people realize that you're not going to stand for it, they'll back down!! You can always come vent here - we'll listen! :)
