"Well when you do it for one, you have to do it for all of them."
BULL CRAP!!!!!
As a kid I remember wondering does that ever work. Still as an adult I have never seen it happen. People just say it to get out of doing things.
I will never say that to my kids! Why? because what one child needs the others may not. They may need something else, or nothing at all.
EXAMPLE:
Brandon may need new football shoes so does that mean that everyone else gets a pair. Or should I buy them all dance shoes because on of the girls might need those. OR do I buy the boys tights becasue the girls need them. Do you see how dumb this saying is.
One kids may need shoes, the other tights and dance shoes. One may need pants or a coat, and the other kids may not need anything.
When they get older one may want to play football and the other one may just be happy doing nothing.
Little Josh will be the first to drive out of my kids, he will have his own car for a while, but that doesn't mean that Brandon will have his own car he will then share with Josh. Josh likes the Piano, so I am looking into getting one. Do ya see what I mean.
Josh likes Piano, Brandon likes football. Not the same.
If you were to buy all the kids something every time a kid needed something you would be broke.
That is just my thought on that phrase.
