Christmas right around the corner

I Love this time of year! And the reason for that is my Grandpa. As a little girl I can always remember my grandpa sitting over in the chair in the corner and just watching everyone. Every year that was his spot. He was always so excited to get the pad of paper and pencil from me. He was a very simple man. It didn't take much to make him smile. He loved to write music and poems.
As I got older I wondered how many more Christmas's he would be with us. He has been gone for 5.5 years, and every Christmas I still glance over at the chair in the corner. Oh how I miss his happy face his silver/white hair, his hugs and his hands. I miss watching his hands dance on the piano keys. I miss singing to his music. And most of all his positive attitude.
I am grateful for my Grandpa and for the wonderful example he was to me and my boys. There isn't a man alive that is like him.

That is very sweet. We are having our Clark family party on Sunday and I know that I will be missing my Grandma so much! Thanks for your kind comment on my blog to today!
