Today is our Temple Anniversary. We have been sealed as a family for 11 years. When we got married we young and immature. We had people stressing us to get sealed after being married a year, but it wasn't right for us. We wanted to be sealed when we felt it was out decision. So 2 years after being married we decided that we were ready.
So we got up about 4:30 in the morning with our two little boys and headed off to the Temple. When we arrived we had to drop them off in the nursery and head off to get ourselves dressed. It was funny, even though the ladies that work in the nursery are so very sweet, I was nervous to leave my little ones. I had never left them with anyone but family. But I knew that they would be ok, and that the ladies would bring them to the sealing room when the time was right.
I will never forget the feelings I had that day, I knew what I was doing was right. I knew that I was supposed to be with this wonderful person that was sitting beside me. I was warm all over. Just as I was about to cry,I heard the most beautiful little voice say I want toast, I'm hungry I couldn't help but laugh. Then the door opened and my two little angels were brought in and sat on the altar with us. What an overwhelming feeling to know that these two little angels were going to be sealed to us. That we were going to be an Eternal Family. And then holding them in our arms and looking into the mirrors and seeing us go on and on and on. I was so glad that we had made this decision. And that we had waited for the right time for US.
So to my wonderful little family, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY.
We celebrated by going out to the Fire hous pizzaria as a family, which now I am regreting, 4 out of 3 of us got sick.
What a great 11 years.
Love Ya.
