Tonight I went visiting teaching, and my partner said to me Heidi you are lucky that you fell in love at a young age. At first I wanted to say are you crazy! But I couldn't because I am grateful that I met my husband at the age of 15. The first time I met him I knew that he would be my husband. He has always treated me with respect, and love. From day one I was his world, and he was mine. He loved me like I had never been loved before. He truly cared about me in a way that made me feel special.
The other night we were at the store. After checking out we went and got in the car. Josh says to me "Where do you think you gained your confidence from?" I just looked at him and then said you really don't know? You gave me confidence, before I met you I had NO selfesteem at all. Now I don't care what anyone thinks of me I love myself. I get up at look at myself in the mirror and I like who I see.
I am grateful to Josh for helping me learn how to love myself. I am also grateful that he has helped me become a more positive person.
