Staying Positive

Do you ever have one of those days where you find it hard to stay positive? Lately I have had a few. I wonder why be happy, when all I want to do is be mad and pissy. It's funny how you want to belive that nothing can bug you, and that things are grand and that you live in a perfect world where everyone loves you and you are friends with everyone. I try to be positive all the time. I try not to let my kids see that people or things bug me and that life is great.
The other day I was having a bad day and all I wanted was to hang out with my friend Shannon. We lived up to the U together and always had a ball. I was remembering one night she asked me if I would go to the D.I. with her. So we got in her car and headed to D.I.. As we pulled in we saw they were closed. Neither one of us wanted to come back so we decided to pull around back. We were going to chuck the bags over the tall Iron fence. The bags were so heavy it took both of us to lift them. As we chucked the first bag up it got caught on the fence and split open. Bras were hanging on the fence and clothes were every where. We both were laughing so hard that we couldn't lift the other bags. It was fun. Shannon and I were very close. Oh how I wish she hadn't moved. I could sure use a good laugh. We talk now and then but she lives in Ohio, so we don't hang out like we used to.

I felt like that yesterday. Sometimes I wish I could get back in bed until the next day and wake up to a better day!

I have friends like that too. They live far away and I miss them often. There is nothing like an old friend.
