Today at counseling
Today I went to counsleing with my son. We had a great talk with the counsler. I asked my son if it sounded familiar? We had just had a FHE and talked about the same thing. The conversation was about writing down and remembering how you are going to act to situations. That if you don't know what you are going to do when approached to somke, drink, do drugs, or have sex, more than likely you will not make the good choice. You need to know what you are going to say. I just thought it was great. I feel very strongly about knowing what I am going to do if confronted about certian things. Then it is less likely that I will go down the wrong path.

That was the best peice of advice I got as a youth. To this day I remember who shared that challenge with me and what classroom we were in. It was such a help growing up to know beforehand what I would say and/or do when asked to participate in certain things.
You are such a great person Heidi! That is really great advice.
