My Grandma, My Best Friend

There aren't a ton of people out there who have known me my whole life.
I moved in with my grandma and grandpa when I was 2.5. My dad had gotten divorced and worked so we moved in with my grandparents. When I was 5 my dad remarried. We moved out and in a couple of times and then decided that we( the kids) would be better off if we just stayed.
My Grandma always made sure we had a homemade snack when we got home from school, and We never went out to eat. She always had a home cooked meal on the table by 5:00 Then we would sit down and eat as a family. She always made sure that I had the prettiest dresses for Christmas, and Easter. I always had nice things. My grandparents also made sure that I took piano. My grandpa played the piano beautifuly, he wrote music also. What ever we wanted to do they supported us in.
My grandma was like my mom. She taught me how to clean, and cook. My grandma has been there for me through all my ups and downs. She means the world to me.
The other day I was over at her house and she had just had it with things that have been going on and she broke down and started crying. I felt bad. I don't like to see her hurt. She told me it was no big deal, but to me it is. I go and visit her almost everyday just to make sure she is ok. My grandma is 83 and still is cleaning and doing yard work. She is amazing. I know that one day she isn't going to be here, and then nothing will ever be the same. I love spending time with her, and just hanging out when I go over there. The thing that gets me is that she treats my kids like she treated me. They are her world just like I was, and still am. Love You grandma
