FALL

I love this time of year, I love when the weather starts getting cool, but not too cold. I love the freshly picked apples, peaches and pears. There is nothing like home grown fruits. When I was a little girl I would help my grandma can cherries, peaches, pears., and other fruits but those were my favorite. We would also pick beans and snap them and also pick peas, tomatoes ect.
I love to see all the fall colors come out. It is so beautiful to watch the leaves change. I also love the smell of fall. Fall has so many smells, one smell I love is freshly sharpened pencils, it reminds me of fall. Maybe because school always starts in the fall. Fall seems so peaceful to me.
We went up to Snowbird this weekend with our kids and it was so beautiful the weather was so cool. We took a tram ride up the mountian. Josh and Lili loved it. Lili had her face plastered to the window she didn't want to miss a thing We had to shut the window because it started raining so hard. Mary got a little nervous when the tram stopped because there was lightining at the peak. Brandon was very nerovus. I my self got a little nervous when the tram stopped. But I used to ride it all the time when I was little so I knew we were ok. When we got to the top we decided to hike down to the bottom. We hadn't gotten very far when it started to rain again. It was cold. We got down to a little tunnel that they had built, and we walked into it. When we got out it was done raining and we took the chair lift down the rest of the way. Oh how beautiful and peaceful it was. We had a wonderful time. After we got to the bottom, Josh, Joshie, Lili, Mary and our friend Austin went down the Alpine slide. They had a blast. I stayed at the bottom with Brandon, he had had enough for one day.
It was so nice to get away and just have some fun.

Sounds so great! I love fall too- there is nothing like the crisp air and the beautiful leaves.
